About Us

Our names are Andrei & Aleka and we started this brand out of true passion for coffee that also keeps us motivated and involved in every aspect of our operations. Andrei has an extensive coffee knowledge gathered in many years of coffee
involvement be it barista, quality control, green coffee sourcing or roasting. Aleka is our community and account manager with expertise in public relations and everything communications related.

Our brand, Nomonym, is the epitome of creativity evoking the flavours that coffee
naturally expresses, recalling different areas of foods and flowers but still being our favorite drink.

Our motto, “Great coffee no matter what” is our motivation while creating the highest quality products regardless of the adversities. We are also driven by a set of conscious values like sustainability, quality focus, transparency that we always strive to respect while serving our products in our showroom or creating relationships for sourcing our green coffee lots.

We roast coffee in a technical way using every parameter that we can measure. Our roasting style enhances flavour and clarity while also aiming for balance and sweetness. We care greatly for the coffee terroir and farmer practices that we try to keep in our coffee’s roast and flavour profiles.

We use technology like Cropster to gather information from the roast machine and
ensure our consistency throughout the coffee lots’ best roast profiles.
Our roasting machine is a salmon pink Giesen W6A that we set to work harmoniously both conductive and convective.
